Our CEO first conceived of the product as a result of customers coming into his store, after having lost the diamond out of their ring. The ring, either an engagement ring or an heirloom, held great financial and sentimental value to them, and there was little he could do other than replace the stone with a similar one. 

The customers were happy with his work, but the new diamond did not address their sentimental loss.  Thus, the DiamondAlert^® was developed to safely check the grip of the prongs on the center diamond in a ring.  Currently, the consumer would have to take the ring to a jeweler to have it checked by a setter.  This becomes time consuming, costly, and could still result in the loss of the diamond due to the infrequency the ring setting was checked.  Research shows that less than 10% of ring owners have their rings checked regularly (every six months).

  Additionally, with insurance costs on the rise and low insurance payouts, if one has insurance, consumers and jewelers alike will use DiamondAlert to simply and safely check their rings.

There are 2 versions of DiamondAlert, a 4 prong version and a 6 prong version.
